Tributary Guide

A Guide to help you plan a tributary.

what's the role?

Although we are not actively organising tributaries, we encourage you to organise your own if your area is not on the route! We have made a short guide to help you plan a tributary, and have support on hand within YCCN to help you in your planning.

Our current tributary suggestions are:
- North Wales to Liverpool to Manchester
- Whitby to York
- Brighton to London
- Canterbury to London
- Norwich to Leicester to Nottingham
- Norwich to London
- North Scotland to Glasgow
- Stranraer to Glasgow

We welcome other tributary ideas and can link you up with other people in the same area if we are aware of other tributary organisers.

Please note, YCCN is not responsible for the organisation and risk of tributaries.

what's the time commitment?

1-2 hours per week, depending on how much you decide to take on - more time will be needed for in-depth route planning and volunteer organising
